Huston Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM

When it comes to muscle there is no mid-size SUV or crossover than can match the power of the 2021 Dodge Durango.  Why? Because most other SUVs start with a 4-cylinder engine and work up to a 6- cylinder…maybe.  The Durango starts with a tough as nails 6-cylinder and then you can opt for 8-cylinders. Some trims already come with a V-8.  So, yeah, the new Durango is plenty strong.  As far as competitors are concerned the Dodge Durango could twist their arms behind their back and make them say uncle.

You might think that with all this machismo the 2021 Durango mainly appeals to men. But no there are all sorts of ladies wheeling this brute around town and off-road too.  Women, it seems, also appreciate strength.

The 2021 Dodge Durango comes with two-rows of seats, but you can add a third row no problem. There is driver-tech galore.  A fair amount of tech is standard, and the rest is a la carte or in a package.  Very simple: take what you need.

As we pointed out earlier, in the mid-size SUV world, the 2021 Dodge Durango brings the muscle. The Durango is perhaps the best choice in its class for towing tasks, especially when equipped with the V-8. A new Tow N Go package is available on the top-spec R/T trim. It bumps maximum towing capacity to 8700 pounds and adds a dedicated towing mode as well as unique 20-inch wheels and flared fenders just because it makes sense.

The 2021 Dodge Durango interior is a well-executed design which give priority to ergonomics and material quality. The steering wheel features a thick, leather-wrapped rim and handsome metal-look trim. The paddle shifters mounted behind the wheel operate with a satisfying click.

The Durango has one of the best infotainment systems on the market with the base SXT and mid-range GT models coming with an 8.4-inch display while a 10.1-inch screen is optional on the GT and standard on the Citadel and R/T. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard with both screens. A rear-seat entertainment system, also optional, adds dual screens and provides HDMI and RCA ports to connect even more devices.

The new 2021 Dodge Durango is not the guy with perpetual five-o-clock shadow to make him look tough.  The Dodge Durango is tough and does not have to pretend.  Come see what we mean for yourself. Put some muscle in your driving and enjoy the ride.
